I think the following filters could be what you need although they require the knowledge of WordPress hooks.

– https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/jetpack_sitemap_skip_post/

Thanks for the reply Bruce, but I’m not a developer and have no idea on how to use WordPress hooks.

Is there a laymans guide anywhere ??

We don’t have a guide for it I’m afraid, but you can find a code example here:

You need to replace the 28, 29, 30 there with the post IDs of the posts/pages you want to skip.

Here’s how to find the post/page ID: https://smartwp.com/wordpress-get-post-id/

Then you can install the Code Snippets plugin and add that code to a new snippet:

https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/code-snippets/

Activate that snippet and those posts/pages should be excluded from your sitemap.
