Sitemap Problem

Hello,

I have a question about https://cryptopotato.com/

In order to get accepted to Google News for CryptoPotato ES (the Spanish version of the site, found at https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/ ) we had to open a new Google Search Console property.
We got accepted finally, but the news is not showing up on Google News. After checking with Google, they said the problem could be the fact that we don’t have a site-map defined for the Spanish property.

In the English main site ( https://cryptopotato.com/ ) the sitemap created by Yoast includes all the languages in one sitemap index.

My question is, how do we create a sitemap only for articles/URLs under https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/?

Since https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/ is a different Google Search Console property and Google accepts only site-maps located under this address – https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/
