  • I would ask Yoast because the sitemap is created by Yoast SEO and not Polylang. As I know, Polylang just provides the language and has nothing to do with the sitemap.

but Polylang must “speak” with Yoast. and must think about how to sync with Yoast’s sitemaps.. anyways, if anyone can assist I would really appreciate

    Hello,

Polylang works with the Yoast sitemap but there is only one sitemap for all languages as accepted by Google.

If you want only one sitemap per language, tehn you need to have a language per domain or subdomain.

thanks for your reply. However, which sitemap should I provide the new GS property at https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/ ?
it let’s me only chose a sitemap under this subdomain (https://cryptopotato.com/language/es/ *).

Right now it’s empty. And the Spanish articles don’t appear in Google News
