Sitemap Query

  • I have submitted this page to Google Webmaster:
    /sitemaps.xml

    Why would the plugin block it with some other setting?
    I get this when I submit it:
    Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag

    No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header

    Here is my robots.txt: https://pastebin.com/j48Y48Gp

    So I assume it’s a plugin setting somewhere. Any ideas?

    Hi,
    please provide a link to your sitemap.
    In the robots.txt file, the link to your xml sitemap have to be in absolute (not relative).

    Hi

    Not keen to list my site publicly.

    In the sitemap I do have an absolute URL!

    Also – when I submit to Google Webmaster it tells me it can’t read the sitemap file which is weird.

    Is there a way to PM you the URL?
