Sitemap read but not parsed

    I am getting an error in Google Search Console saying that my sitemap can be read, but not parsed.
    I have validated the sitemap using a third party and it loads ok.
    If i view the sitemap in Yoast whilst i am logged in i can see it, however if i try to load the sitemap by loading the page in a private window i get a completely blank page.
    I have checked for plugin conflicts, cleared cache, checked the site settings and everything seems fine.
    I must be missing something.

    Any ideas?

  • It’s most likely an issue related to cache or security plugins. Did you try to deactivate them and check sitemaps? Did you try to check ‘View Page Source’ (even if it’s blank page) because it’s possible that the style-sheet isn’t loaded?
