Sitemap shows both old url and new url

We understand that you’ve changed the permalink of a CPT but it’s still showing both the new and old permalinks. Could you try resetting the indexables and checking if this helps:

1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’. The page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Could you check if this fixes the issue? Otherwise, could you provide us with a link to your sitemap and more details on the CPT specifically (both old and new URL configurations) so we can try and check on this further?

Hi, unfortunately that didn’t solve the issue.

Old url https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding
New url https://www.muggyweld.com/video/brazing-aluminum-boat/

As you can see they are both in the sitemap and Semrush is marking it as an error due to the “redirect”

I can confirm that both https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding and https://www.muggyweld.com/video/brazing-aluminum-boat/ are in that sitemap. And there is a 301 redirect from https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding/. It is still the same URL but the difference is a trailing slash.

Please re-confirm your redirects; what I see is:

old URL: https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding
new URL: https://www.muggyweld.com/video/aluminum-boat-welding/
