Sitemap users listing issue

    Hi Profilegrid,

    I tested this one and now i know the cause. When a user who doesn’t have a post, they’re not listed on the sitemap, but if they have a post, they get listed. How can i make the users in search users page to be listed even with or without posts on the sitemap users?

    Hello @salave,

    Users listing of site map works based on author. Plugin does not have feature to set the?Sitemap as of now.

    This search page list all users irrespective to existence of posts of a user. This does not display the user, which have configured the option “Hide My Profile From Groups, Directories and Search Results” to “yes” in user profile. This also does not display the inactive users.

    Please check this and let us know if you still face any issues.

    Quite true!Userlisting is governed by the sitemap and is not under the authority of Profilegrid. They all originate from the sitemap’s author lists, which are all listed. However, only authors who have published content will be included on the sitemap.

    There are SEO plugins that usually have this option for checking the box if you want the listing for the author archive, without posts to show on search. I’m sure you’ve come across something like that. But for some of us, we’re trying our best to avoid bloated plugins. And because Profilegrid has a taste of social engine, many users might be missed out on sitemap. Maybe in near future will be something to reconsider? You done a good job. Thanks!
