sitemap.xml

  • The “wp meta seo” sitemap worked fine until January 8, 2024. But now doesn’t want to generate any sitemap. I click on “regenerate and save sitemap” as I see a rotating circle all day but nothing happens. Result that plugin does not generate sitemap. I would love to use that plugin but it’s useless that way. I had to return to “xml sitemap generator for google”.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Could you please check that the sitemap source is properly checked? I see only your home page in the sitemap.

    Also, could you open the developer console from your browser when you click on the save and generate button?

    Unfortunately, I can’t test the “WP Meta SEO” sitemap because I’ve fixed a working sitemap in the meantime with another plugin. It contains all the pages and posts and I want to keep it. I uploaded it to google search and they are waiting for index now.

    But I have one more question.
    On January 13 and 14, I received an email from wordpress:
    “WordPress has a built-in feature that can detect when any plugin or theme causes a serious error on your site and inform you via this email that is sent automatically.

    In this case, WordPress has detected an error with one of your plugins, WP Meta SEO.”
    I have not detected any error except sitemap.
