Sitemaps not being sent to Google

  • You have to submit the sitemap.
    Webmasters Tools -> Crawl -> Sitemaps -> Add/Test Sitemap Button

    Whilst creating the site, I had the ‘discourage search engines’ option ticked.

    You’ll have to untick that option if you want your site to appear on Google.
    WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading

    On the second point – I already did this, nothing happened.

    I added the sitemap, yesterday. Still pending. How long should I wait before I know whether it’s worked or not?
