SiteOrigin Editor widget won’t render p tag

  • I just started using this plugin and need to enter raw HTML in the Text tab of the SiteOrigin Editor widget.

    H1 tags are rendering correctly, but p tags are not. On the site I already had disabled wpautop. In the widget row I also tried checking and unchecking the “Automatically add paragraph” checkmark, saved each time and no difference.

    For example:
    `<h1> Heading renders on the page correctly between the h1 tags</h1>

    <p>This paragraph will render in the source not surrounded by any p tags at all</p>
    ‘

    Can you help? Would love to use the plugin for re-ordering groups of content for a story theme, but do need to render p tags. Thanks…
