• Everything was working fine for home page, and was able to add another page with SiteOrigin editor and image widgets and it worked fine, but for the next page I tried to add it would not let me update the page (just loads and loads and loads). Tried another page and it let me save it once but then the SiteOrigin text editor would not load to let me continue editing (right side loaded right away, wysiwyg editor just spins forever.

I have tried everything from rolling back wp, using an older Page Builder, downgrading from multisite to single site, and upgrading hosting to a larger plan for more virtual headroom, and still nothing. I have deactivated the plug-ins to test that as well. Everything is up to date.

I am desperate now as I have spent a few days trying to remedy this. Please help!

I’m using Maskitto Light as my theme.

After all of that not working, and trouble shooting with tech support from hosting, I decided to delete the site, wp installation and database, and start over. Everything was going good until I tried to create a page with a massive amount of text – a rather lengthy article. Suddenly the same thing happens – won’t update, just spins. It would seem as though Page Builder cannot handle that much text on one page.

    Hi jjanthony,

I can assure you that’s not the case – there are a number of extremely text heavy websites out there using SiteOrigin Page Builder. If you still have a copy of the website I’m more than willing to help you resolve your issue.

That’s good news – right now my solution is to cut the article down and link to a pdf or create a “part 2”, neither of which are ideal. Help on this would be greatly appreciated! I’ll create a user login for you.

    Hi jjanthony,

It should be noted that there’s no ideal method for me to receive the information from you over www.ads-software.com (in fact, I’m 99% sure it’s aginst the rules here) so you should consider posting a thread on our support forums (where we can accept login details). Please be sure to only post your details in the initial thread if you’ve never posted a thread there before or it’ll be publicly posted.

You can find our forums here.

I was going to use the email [email protected] but I will over go there.

Just an update, SiteOrigin support worked with me for hours to remedy this. I have other sites that use the same plug in and was not able to duplicate the issue, it had nothing to do with the plug in, and even though they suspected it was not the plug in they gave of their time freely to help me work through the issues. In the end, after hours with my hosting company tech support, changing the web hosting was the only thing that worked for me. Now page builder is working great again, and I would not hesitate to recommend and use any SiteOrigin products.
