Thank you for your reply. I haven’t attempted to change themes, because I’m set on the theme I want to use. Should I try changing it anyway, just to see if the problem is connected to the theme? Will I lose any of my changes to my current theme if I do this?

Yes. Changing your theme temporarily will allow us to identify if the issue is coming from the theme. It’s perfectly safe to change the theme, WordPress will store all of your theme specific settings in an inactive state while another theme is being used and then use them again once you switch back t your current theme.

I agree with Mia, the inspector is NOT visible anymore once switched to another page. I tried to switch themes as suggested above; no difference, still no inspector.

I just installaed an older version 1.1.12. Now it is working again. Some kind of bug in the latest version.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue. I figured out a kind of workaround for the code inspector issue. Since it automatically loads the homepage with the code inspector active, I had to change the homepage to my other pages, one by one, until they were edited. The only page I couldn’t edit was the Blog posts page, which WordPress will not allow to be set as the homepage. I have not changed my theme yet, since the workaround sufficed for the time being.

Can you please confirm that changing theme didn’t help? I ask because while @evolinestore did state that they were experiencing something similar, it’s quite possible the source of this issue is completely different.

To clarify, the issue you’re facing is a very common sign of a plugin/theme conflict which is why we’re pushing to verify if this is the case or not. We’re also still not able to verify this issue so that also suggests that it could be a related to a plugin/theme conflict.

That is great to know, Alexgso. I haven’t changed my theme since it looks like there is a fix for the bug in the works.
