• I love this plugin and have used it, and recommended it, for years. I have a number of sites that I check each day. Recently a few (not all) of them became disconnected. I was able to reconnect them, but now they have again disconnected. Uninstalling and reinstalling has not made a difference.

Is this a known issue? Is a plugin update coming? I notice that the current release is “tested up to 6.5.5” My sites are all on 6.7.1.

    Hi there,

Thinking of the description you provided, it sounds like the timeout error, but I can’t be 100% sure. Would you be willing to open a support ticket at [email protected] and provide a couple of URLs so that we can take a closer look to what might be causing the disconnection?

At the moment, we don’t have any known issues that portray the disconnection of multiple sites, so it will be best to check closely.

As for the update part, yes, a plugin update is on its way! The current release is compatible with version 6.7.1, but we’re a bit behind on updating the “tested up to” information on the development page. We’re working to correct that oversight shortly. Rest assured, the plugin is rigorously tested to ensure compatibility with the latest versions, so you can continue using it confidently.

    Kind regards.

    1. Deactivate and delete the plugin
    2. Delete option_name _site_transient_mwp_sessions from options table in database
    3. Reinstall plugin and reconnect

Plugin seems to have a bug (for very long time) – it uses transients for persistent session/connection data – but, does not consider memcache which could be enabled and disabled at any point of time.

Very poor choice by developer using transient for persistent data storage, and not consider memcache while playing with transients. Back to school boys!
