Sites with special site_url break Nextgen album's navigation.

  • When inserting album view on a page of a site with a special site_url, it will give a broken link (404 page).

    For example, if the site_url is a special folder /specialfolder/ on my hosting service, and I insert an album on /myphotopage/, the album navigation links will go to /myphotopage/specialfolder/nggallery/gallery-1/album instead of the correct url, /myphotopage/nggallery/gallery-1/album.

    Hi –

    Just to confirm: are you referring to the case where you have different URLs on the General Setting page for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL)?

    Yeah, on sites where site_url() is different than home_url() (which is the correct page url).

    OK. I think this may actually be causing some other related issues we’ve seen on the forums, but where people didn’t mention that they were using a different site_url. I’ve added your information for our developers for a number of permalink related issues.
