Help! I’ve really dug myself into a wordpress hole here.

I was messing around with my options, and accidentally added my base url as “gadgetive.com/index.php”. As you know, that messed up everything. Well, I saw some people did the same thing, and there problem was solved by modifying the siteurl and home in the sql database.

However, when I did this, it did not work. WordPress still affixes “gadgetive.com/index.php” infront of every url. I’m thinking there’s somewhere else that I have to update it as well.

I have just recently upgraded to WordPress 2.0

Success! My problem was solved by the lovely people over at the #wordpress IRC channel. If you are having this same problem, here’s the trick:

Delete ALL files within the wp-content/cache… specifically the index.php. This did the trick for me ??
