    Hi,

I know there is a lot of discussion regarding the block validation in Gutenberg. We have a lot of custom blocks in our project and also make use of nested blocks, so dynamic blocks aren’t the way to go here.

    Problem
Whenever we do a change on a custom block it breaks the block and needs to be recovered manually. The block breaks even if you don’t touch the attributes but just the markup. I know this is how the block validation works for now, but it’s also a real pain to manually recover all of the blocks.

    Question
Is there a way to trigger the “Attempt block recovery” action on all our broken blocks sitewide?

    Thanks

    Hi there!

Currently, in core it is not possible to trigger a site wide “Attempt block recovery”.
Triggering this type of site-wide action is more of an advanced use case but I think it would be useful in some situations. I guess this type of functionality could be a very useful plugin.
