Situational widget areas

    I am a new

    I would like to make a website with a primary menu and a secondary one for every page. For example, when clicking Menu 1, you get a page content plus a sidebar related to Menu 1 showing subcategories.

    Unfortunately, every widget area is visible on every page. Another issue is being limited to two different sidebars.

    How could I decide which sidebar is hidden or not on which page? How could I add as many sidebars as needed? My current theme is TwentyTen. Should I change it or the answer lies elsewhere?
