    Hello,

I have a short question: I need to save the backup via e-mail, but this works only with not too big e-mails. But where can I see the size of the backup?

    Best regards

    Petra

    Hi Petra,

You can view the the total file size if you triple-clicking on the backup entry in the list. A pop-up window will appear with the details. Here’s a sample – https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9ub5ooJ

    Thanks,

    @bcrodua It’s just a double-click (since releases from January 2017).

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your answers!

Unfortunately I cannot double or triple click, just single click. Then the “log” (see attachment) for the backup appears, but it is a long and confusing text.

I just would like to see the total file size, so that I can see if it is ok as an e-mail attachment.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

I’m not sure if I have understand your comments the wrong way…

I like Updraft, but I can’t use it if I can’t find out the size of a backup. I clicked everywhere 2 and 3 times, but just the attached log.txt window appears.

I really would be happy for help!

    Hello,

PLEASE, could you help me with a short answer? I like to use Updraft in about 10 different websites, and if I choose “send backup by e-mail and the file is too big, I loose the backups and I could get troubles.

Otherwise I have to choose another backup software, although Updraft seems to be the best…

It sounds like you’re clicking on the “Log” button. The place to click is on the date to the left. (Though the log does also include size details if you scroll down to the right line – but that’s less easy).

If i double-click, I get the “Process of RAW backups” (in German), I missed that there are also the file sizes.

Thank you very very much for this answer, it helped very much!

    Best regards

    Petra
