• Hi
I seem to have encountered a filter issue. I’m setting up a WooCommerce site and installed the YITH filter plug in to allow to filter by size. All 63 products have the size variation and not all have the same stock count in sizes. However, the filter is showing the product count (please refer to screenshot)

Can you advise on why the filter is showing the SKU count and not the actual stock count and how to rectify this issue? Thank you in advance.

    Hi @agentorange76,

sure! This is not related to Ajax Product filter plugin.
WooCommerce manage the stock at product level not at variation level. This means that if I have a product, in Example a T-shirt, and this product have 3 different color with different stock, for WooCommerce the stock count are the sum of single variations.

In other words, if you have:

    – 10 t-shirt black
    – 5 t-shirt red
    – 3 t-shirt green

for WooCommerce this means that you have 18 t-shirt.
Otherwise, for WooCommerce the “t-shirt product” is in stock if this product have one variation in stock.

    In example:

    – 10 t-shirt black
    – 5 t-shirt red
    but
    – 0 t-shirt green

and you try to filter for “green” color, for WooCommerce this product is in stock, because you have 15 t-shirt…the product is in stock but the single variation isn’t in stock…but like I write before, WooCommerce doesn’t works with variation for stock management.

I hope all it’s clear now.
    Have a nice day

    Hi YITH @yithemes
Thanks for the response. Is there any way around this issue? How does is it set up in your demo that the widget is able to filter by size?

    Hi @agentorange76,

no, I haven’t a solution for this now. Our developers works to try an alternative solution but all the test that we made works fine but are very very slowly….however, we working on this to find an alternative solution for variation management.

For the “Size” you can use the filter with “Label” style.

Let me know if you need other information.
    Thanks.
    Have a nice day
