    fairly new to WP.
i intend to have a video gallery (a few hundred files).

the default file size limit is 2MB – need to increase that.

i’ve altered everything i’ve seen people told other people to alter (php.ini, etc).

    no success.

    what gives?

    (local install running on xampp)

    – from the XAMPP Control panel stop Apache
    – click Config for Apache and select php.ini
    – do a Find for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize and set the value for each to a higher one (e.g. 20M)
    – save, start Apache (and of course, MySQL if it isn’t running already).

    Cheers!
