    Hello,

I hope you can help me with the following issue I have with the compression of the product images on my woocommerce webshop ??

When I look at the “Compression Details” to a compressed image on my site, I can see that 4 image sizes are not compressed because they are labelled as “Size is not in use”. But these 4 sizes are actually those the theme use for showing the products in the catalogues and on the product page, so actually these 4 sizes are probably the most important to compress for me.

Do you know why the sizes are labelled as not in use? And is it possible to do something to get them compressed anyway? I would also rather compress too many images than too few.

    Best Regards,
    Jesper

    Hi Jesper,

When an image size says “not in use” then this means it may have been created by WordPress and optimised in the past but that your WordPress installation no longer has this image size in use. So in that case it would not really make sense to optimise either.

I’m not sure why these sizes are marked like this. It’s hard for me to troubleshoot this remotely, as it could also be caused by your theme. If you would like more help, you can send an email to support[at]tiynpng.com.
