size of the plugin

  • Hello can you tell me how heavy and big this plugin is we are now using uber menu but this plugin is really big. and does this plugin effect the loading Time of the site

    Hi daan,

    I’m not sure what you mean by “big” sorry (A plugin with just a few lines of code can slow your site down significantly if it is not properly coded).

    All plugins will impact the loading time of your site somewhat, but MMM should not slow it down noticeably. If you add a slow widget to your menu, then it can make it appear as if MMM is slow, but in fact it is the widget inside the menu that is slowing things down.

    The best thing you can do is try both plugins and compare. Ubermenu is well coded and shouldn’t slow your site down significantly (if it does then you may want to contact their support, I am sure they would help).
