Skeptical at first – but it works!

  • I’ve been experiencing ongoing issues with spam, spammers abusing our contact forms. I disabled my mailserver and moved over to Googles’ GSuite for Business to help with IP reputation issues where my genuine emails were not reaching my customers inboxes.

    Moving to GSuite helped but then I found GSuite was suspended my users from sending mail because the spammers were finding ways to send mail out using our contact forms and the autoresponders!

    I tried a few plugins & Captcha’s but no real joy. I found CleanTalk and I was skeptical but I thought I’d give it a try…

    I’ve now been using CleanTalk for just over two weeks and I can confirm I’ve had ZERO spam going out!! It’s worked so well that I’ve installed it now on all of my sites and paid the annual license (even though it wasn’t necessary) but I felt the authors of this product well deserved the small fee that they charge.

    In just over two weeks, it has stopped 1,318 spammers from sending the spam through my contact form. So not only does it keep my own inbox clean, it doesn’t even allow the autoresponder to fire out spammy messages to random email addresses.

    Out of the 1,318 blocked messages, I have found 4 genuine customer enquiries got stopped (I’m checking it every few days) and mark the genuine as “Not Spam” to help their algo get better at detecting real genuine customers.
