Skin is saved but can not be edited

Hi,
I edited a skin, saved it, and later i can not edit it no longer.
If i use the shortcode the edited form is shown, but if i go in to the plugin i can not find the form anymore. If i choose the contactform upon which the skin is based i do not get the edited skin, but have to start all over again.Regards,
