• I have a layout already to go that was made in Photoshop, I just need to slice it and I’m done, its set up in WP format with buttons (images) on the side and a big image that says my site title and a little icon right next to it.
I need to slice it, but is it possible from taking an HTML file and putting it straight into WP? If so, how do I do it?
I would like to get this done within 2 and a half hours due to my hosting change and I need some content and a new blog software to put up before I advertise my new site.
    Many thanks and best regards,
    – RdX

  • Well that sounds very cool we will look forward to it. Welcome to WordPress.

I’m not sure what you mean.
1 – Use the images with css to create the new display
2 – Use the wordpress code inside a page you make using html.
Each requires a very different approach, and a screenshot of your proposed layout – or elements of it – would help explain what your goal is.

So basically, I just take screenshots of what I want to do any you guys will help me out?
If thats correct, thanks very much, and I’ll get the screenshots right away.

Hi, i think that you could do with a visit to the docs section. 2.5 hours in there will allow you to start tailoring WP to your own needs.
