Skip to content link does not jump to the content area

  • Using keyboard only navigation, if you click on “Skip to Content”. The focus key stays at “Skip to content” button, instead of shifting to the main content area. This is an accessibility issue.

    Theme version: Version: 4.3.1

    WordPress version: 6.2.2

    Steps to replicate:

    1. Press “Tab” key to display “Skip to content” button
    2. Press “Enter” key
    3. Press “Tab” key again, keyboard focus will shift to Site logo instead of a link in the main content area.

  • I have the same issue. the html code is fine, CSS is not interfering. Tracked it down to javascript. If you turn javascript off then then skip link works as expected.

    We had another user reported the same on this thread. We have added this in our to-do list. However, since I am unable to provide you with an ETA, I would ask you to keep an eye on our Changelog to see the fixes/improvements we add in a release.
