    Hello. Why is Wordfence skipping paths when doing a scan of my website? I have enabled “Scan files outside your WordPress installation” so that this does not happen, but I am still getting this error message when doing a scan.

    Hi @bothakristie93, thanks for getting in touch.

    Do the skipped paths shown to you match the ones shown even when “Scan files outside your WordPress installation” is deselected? You can run manual scans in between changing/saving settings to check. What are the paths shown to you in each case?

    Do you have anything specified inside, “Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns”?
