SKU in permalink

    Hi there

    I’m trying to find a plugin that generates an SKU and adds it to the permalink as part of the product name.

    My store will feature identical products from multiple vendors and user will be able to compare prices so I don’t want WordPress to add “-2”, “-3” at the end of the url.

    What is happening now:
    site.com/products/product_category/SKU/product_name
    site.com/products/product_category/SKU/product_name-2

    What I would like:
    site.com/products/product_category/product_name-SKUXXX
    site.com/products/product_category/product_name-SKUXXY
    site.com/products/product_category/product_name-SKUXYYX

    Please let me know if there’s a way to achieve this.
