SKU is not getting the product id

Hello. The question is not understood, please specify, we will understand. The product ID is generated correctly, what is not working right now?

I would like to duplicate the SKU ID from the product name (ID), the idea is to prevent from inputting the same data twice as the SKU is the same as the product name/ID – which I already input at the top of the product page.

Our product names are: D4506, D9856, A9805, B2347
I wold like the SKU get the same info as the product name so it is matching.
SKU=PRODUCT NAME

Do you want to have a sku of this kind “D4506, D9856, A9805, B2347” or by product name? Maybe you can give the opportunity to put the prefix and ID?

I haven’t received an answer yet, at the moment I am using product variations, the product name and the SKU for all the variations is the same but I must input them both (once in the product name and once in the SKU), can the SKU receive exactly the same name as the product name I have input automatically? if so how should I set it?

In our plugin, in variant products, generation is based on the main SKU of the product.

If your main SKU is D4506, then the options for them will be D4506-1, D4506-2, D4506-3

I figured out what you want to do, but we cannot release the plugin update so quickly. Your idea is currently under development. Please be patient a little and you will get what you want in the new version of the plugin
