    Hi,

When trying to search by SKU, it always shows no results.

We try to disable plugin’s, we have been enabled the SKU search in the fibosearch settings. Still not working.

You can try with the link we provide with a test product that have the SKU : 8PS-123
The same product shows up when we search ”test” on the search top header (the same with the widget search). You can see the SKU when searching by description or title, but the SKU always shows No results.

Please help, we really like your search bar and don’t want to go with anything else!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

SKUs should be searchable without any problems. There might be a plugin conflict on your website. Could you disable your plugins (except FiboSearch and WooCommerce) one by one and test the search after each deactivation?

If this doesn’t help, please switch temporarily to a default theme (eg. Storefront) and check the search.

Let us know how it goes!

    Regards,
    Marta

    Hi,

so we found out that it is the theme that cause that. Any advise for us?

Since we can’t change the theme, is there a way to fix that?

    Hi,

I’m not familiar with the theme you’re using, so I can’t provide a quick solution. But I see that you’re using a child theme too. Does switching to the parent theme fix the problem? Or is it only when you switch to a completely different theme?

If the child theme is the problem, you can check your child theme’s functions.php file to see if there’s any code which blocks the SKU search.

If this doesn’t help, please contact your theme’s authors. Perhaps they’ll be able to fix the issue.

    Hi.

Having the same issue. Once typing in the SKU, the SKU item appears, but when clicking search it says no items found. With what could the conflict be?

    Hi Delpierooo,

It’s hard to say what may be causing the problem. The best approach is to deactivate the plugins one by one and check if the search works properly. Perhaps you’ve got a filtering plugin installed, which intercepts the search. What’s the address of your website?

    Regards,
    Marta

Hello, your plugin is perfect, but I have the same problem. No results when I search a product by SKU. This is the reason I added this plugin, to have SKU option in search, because my Theme’s search hasn’t.
    My website is rnw.gr.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @magdalini,

Have you enabled searching by SKU? Please check your settings in WooCommerce -> FiboSearch -> Search config (tab) -> Search in SKU.

If SKU is enabled, there’s probably a theme or plugin conflict. Please deactivate your plugins one by one and check the search after each deactivation. If the problems is still there, activate the plugin again and deactivate another one. Repeat these steps for all plugins.

If you checked all plugins, switch temporarily to another theme, eg. Storefront.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Regards,
    Marta
