SKU underneath Single Product Title

Hello,

I’m wondering how to add the Product SKU underneath the product title. I’ve tried adding :

<?php echo ‘<div class=”sku”>’ . $product->sku . ‘</div>’; ?>

in the title.php file but this isn’t working.
