• Hi guys, I’d love your help on a Woocommerce Topic… I’m developing a website in which i need to import twice a month the catalog of products manually. My issue is this:
I import for the first time all the catalog, no problem. with this settings on the coloumn: ID, SKU, name price, ecc.
Sometimes i need to update the SKU code for some reasong but when i import for example a product with the same ID but different SKU [that needs to be update for some researces purpose] it creates me a new product so i find myself with two identical products one with the old SKU and one with the new SKU.

Someone can help me? If it is impossibile to update the SKU you have any suggestions on how i can manage it?

    thank you for your time.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Hi Simone
I’ve got the same problem and I think you can only do it manually. I’ve tried with several import plugins and they all will create a new product based on the sku being different, despite the ID number being the same.
It’s a pain when there’s hundreds of products to change. If you find a fix could you please let me know?
But what Steven said above is correct. This forum is primarily for wordpress issues, you’ll get better support on the woocommerce forum as they deal with woocommerce issues all the time. I believe the forum is voluntarily run though so sometimes you have to wait a while.
