Skype link in social buttons, input field doesn't take html

  • Hi There,

    I would like to add this Skype call link (<a href="skype:echo123?call"></a>) to the social links at the top and bottom.

    I managed to change the icons and everything, however the input field is being validated, I think, because It does takes html or text.

    I believe it can be adjusted here in theme-option.php

    if( isset( $input[ 'social_skype' ] ) ) {
$validated_input_values[ 'social_skype' ] = esc_url_raw( $input[ 'social_skype' ] );
}

    but I do not have enough php knowledge to do it myself.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Sorry — I know this topic is from long ago, but I can’t find any other info on this.
    Would you be able to give me a hint as to how you changed the icons for the social media links, please?
    I’ve been looking in the header-extensions file, and so on, but I can’t work out where it’s actually getting the icon graphics from, so how I can change them.
    It would be amazing if you could point me in the right direction!
