    Hi sarahdelrio,

Thank you very much for letting me know. Clearly this shouldn’t be happening, investigating now.

    Hi sarahdelrio,

I can reproduce this, it is likely a bug I introduced with a recent update (filtering the content adding rel attributes). I will do some testing and release a fix once I pinpoint what is causing it.

    Hi sarahdelrio,

I have just released update (1.4.11) which fixes this problem. Let me know if you have any more problems and thank you for letting me know there was an issue so that I could fix it.

Thanks so much! Do I have to go to your site to get the update or will it come through the WP dashboard?

    Hi sarahdelrio,

It will come through automatically, to force WP to check for updates you can go to: Dashboard -> Updates and click the ‘Check Again’ button.

Still having the problem before apostrophes…

…sorry! You’re being so helpful, I just want this to look right.

    Hi sarahdelrio,

No problem at all, I want to make the plugin work correctly for everyone!

I cannot reproduce it not working on my test installs, is there a chance it had simply not updated/refreshed the cache yet? Does it still display the slashes?

If it does I will continue debugging!

I think it’s fixed indeed! I’ll mark the topic as resolved!

    Hi sarahdelrio,

Great news, thank you for letting me know.

The plugin processes the data (adds links, etc) only once when it fetches the data, to improve page load times. Which means that changes like this will only take effect once the Tweet data has been refreshed.

I really appreciate you letting me know about this, far more people must have been suffering from it in silence!
