Slices, squares and animation speed?

You need to increase the animation speed, 100ms is very fast (it transitions in 0.1 seconds). If you set it to 1000ms, it will transition in 1 second.

Slides and squares are used for the box effects (hover over the setting name with your mouse and you will see a quick description of each setting).
