• Hi all,
Ive found the Plugin Slickr and tried to install it on my Blog. Everythings works good, I got no errors or something strange, except that Im not able to delete the cache folder, but this ist not the problem Im trying to solve right now.
My blog is available under: https://www.alexinaustralia.de/photos
So my Problem is that Slickr does not Show up the photos inside the albums. Activating the Slickr widget brings up the pics in the sidebar but I want them right in the photo section which is no surprise ??
    Can anyone Help me?
My space supports everything I need to run the script eg libcurl, php, ajax, js ….
I get no Error on any site of the plugin!
    Thx for your help.

    best regards
    frakki

    does anybody has an indea?

    Same problem here :/

Yep – Same here – upgraded to 2.6 and now no photos show.

I understand the plug in is unsupported and comes with no official technical support.

If anyone has it working in 2.6 please shout – it is really cool and I miss it! Or if you know of an equivalent that hooks up with the lightbox plugin again please shout.

Just hoping to give this issue a nudge. I’m running 2.7.1 and I have both the Slickr plugin installed, and the ‘Shadowbox’ Lightbox plugin (though I’ve also tried others).

Slickr will not call up my photos from Flickr. In the settings, it correctly identifies and lets me select my Flickr galleries, but when I click the Flickr Photos link on my new post, it brings up a blank overlay like this, and when I try to do anything in that box, like type in a tag and hit refresh, I end up getting an insert of my WP media page, like this.

I’ve checked to see if the problem is with my host, and asked them if they support libcurl (they do), and so all I’m left with is the idea that Slickr is incompatible with WP 2.7.1

If so, is there a workaround that would make this go? I’ve been back to the site where I originally downloaded the plugin just a week or two back (stimuli.ca) and it seems to have disappeared from the net.

Can anyone help? This is potentially a really great plugin and there seems to be nothing else there that does this. I’d just love to get it working. Thoughts?
