    Hi,

I’m trying to transition from slider revolution but would love to have the same look/effects at the one on there now.

How can I achieve the following?

1- Notice how when the slide loads there’s a nice white fade-in effect?
2- When scrolling down, notice how the slide fades on mouse scroll?
3- Also with the Ken Burns effect, is there a way to specify the start and end dimensions/resolution? I can see there are px settings I can change in the preview window, but that seems to just shift the whole background instead of the start or end positions…

I would also like to know if I should add my image as the background or as a layer?
Currently, I have done this with SR through background image..

Thank you for your help and look forward to your reply

    Hi @thecameracrew!

    1. I’m sorry, but we don’t have an option like this. When our slider loads in, it fades in, but this won’t be a flashing white fading, just a simple fading.

    2. We don’t have this option either.

    3. The way our Ken Burns effect works is, that by default when you select a background image, that covers the entire slide. By selecting Ken Burns effect on it, this image will be scaled up a little bit to avoid browser issues. This is the only image size the animation can start/end based on whether or not you are zooming in or out. The end (or start) resolution will be based on the Speed and Strength values:
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1779-slider-settings-animations
which are defining how much animation will happen to the image.
The pixel value you see in our manager is about the focus point. For example when you zoom in or out, you can select a point on your image, where the zooming should focus on.

Ken Burns effect can only happen to background images, so that is what you should use.

Also please note, that this forum doesn’t really allows Pro version plugins to be supported, so if you will have further questions, please rather contact us through our form:
