Slide info for slide 1 stays on screen

Slide information for the first slide is always on screen, directly below slide 2-N’s slide information.
The problem is visible in Chrome (Version 43.0.2357.143 – which is latest).
The display is correct in Firefox and IE (9 and 11)Oddly, this ONLY happens when there is a background colour applied to .ms-slide-info. If you remove the background colour via the Chrome Developer tools, the slide information appears/disappears properly.
I have applied the background colour in my CSS, rather than via the Master Slider Custom Slider box.I believe this is the same problem as https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fading-slide-info-text-overlays-on-first-slide-in-live-site-help?replies=3
