Slide Transition Speed Very Slow

I’ve changed the slide transition speed, I’ve tried to change each individual slides duration, I’ve messed around with the slide preloading, but it seems no matter what I do the slides always slowly fade into eachother and it takes a very long time for them to transition into the next picture. The slider is a full width Home page slider and I need it to be able to Fade/ Transition between the pictures quick and snappy, but nothing seems to work.
