I have a slide in, and have selected the visibility as specific URLs. For some reason, only one of the URLs has the popup, all others do not. If I go to all the urls, only the one it shows up has “hustle” show up 800+ times in the source code (aka it is activated and showing that slidein), while the others only have 3 appearances of “hustle” and are not showing it. I have tried making new popups and putting it on other URLs and it all doesn’t work.

I am out of ideas on what is going on. Never had this problem before

    Hi @tvanzo

    I hope you’re well today!

The “800+” occurences of “hustle” in the source code doesn’t sound quite right, unless it’s e.g. in inline CSS (that was set to be included in page source eg. in page builder settings or some optimization plugin). But if it’s not that, I’d suspect some kind of caching and/or asset optimization to be conflicting here.

Are you using any cache on site/server and if yes, did you try to purge it?

Are you using some CSS/JS optimization plugin and if yes, did you try to temporarily disable it?

Also, could you please share a screenshot of your current visibility rules set for the slide-in?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

cache: we use cloudflare & cache enabler

css/JS optimization plugins: yes, we just disabled for 24 hours.

Disabling this optimization plugin seems to have fixed the problem. the word “hustle” now shows 839 appearances in the “view source” for all urls and now popup shows up.

How can we use css/js optimization still?

    Hi @tvanzo,

How can we use css/js optimization still?

In general, there shouldn’t be an incompatibility with Hustle to not work with an optimization plugin.

Since it works fine with the Optimization plugin disabled, this would mean that when the plugin tries to minify all the files, it’s causing a conflict; this doesn’t specifically mean it would point to an issue with Hustle as they entirely depend upon your theme and the total number of plugins and the assets loaded.

You’ll have to find and exclude the conflicting file in the optimization plugin.

Could we know whether you checked with your optimization plugins support to see what would be the workflow in such a case?

Since we don’t see any page URL shared where you notice the issue, it’s tough for us to say what might have caused the problem.

I hope this helps in moving forward. Please do let us know how that goes.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hello @tvanzo ,

We haven’t heard from you for several days now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
