No need the to active anything. Just click ‘Featured Slider Post’ below the page in post editor.

I do not see that option on Pages just Posts.

Can it be activated on Pages?

Sorry, it’s my mistake. There was on previous version that i mentioned. I changed this option. But it is basically same. Now you can add slider image below the post editor. Link can give you a idea : click

But You should install Advanced Custom Fields plugin before you do that.

This issue is not resolved. Yes, we have installed the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin. But as smwordpress pointed out, your “Slider Options” field still only appears under the Post editor — and it does not appear under the Page editor.

So no static Pages can have a slider.
