Slider as post on frontpage just shows javascript?

Hi,
I am trying to get the slider to show up on my frontpage as a post. I am using a theme which has a masonry page.
But the slider post just shows javascript on the frontpage, it however works as standalone post.How can I fix this? Any pointers, tips
