I am a novice with WordPress and still playing about learning as I go. The site is not live, but the temp URL is below. The issue is only visible on tablet or phones.

For this, Can you please try code given below in Custom CSS field (Appearance -> Customize -> General Settings -> Custom CSS).

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) and (min-width: 100px) {
    .slide-caption {
        width: 35% !important;
    }
}
