Slider breaks after Update to 1.8

Hello. I am using Access PRess staple pro theme.

In this theme the main slider is based on posts, so I create some posts in a certain category and the slider is built based on these posts.

Until the version 1.7.12 of Polylang, it was working perfect for me, but after the last update to 1.8 my theme can’t create the slider in a correct way. The slider now just work in the default languege, which is portuguese. When I turn to english language the slider is not based in the proper category anymore, but it is now built based on all posts in the english language, so the slider become completely broken.

I have restored a snapshot in my VM, so now it is working, but if I update it again it will became broken again (I already did the test)

Can you guys help-me? Polylang is the bust plugin I’ve ever used.
