Slider causing issues with load times

Hi i was loving using this plugin it works great for what i needed but with this plugin installed it causes hundreds of requests, and somehow causes my leverage browser caching not to work as well as causing other errors with speed related plugins.

When i enable all my plugins but this one i get a rating of 96 on gt metrix, 85 on yslow, my page speed is 1.1 sec and my requests are 21.
With this plugin installed i get a 60 on gt metrix, 76 on yslow, my page speed is 7.4 sec and my requests are 255.

I use this plugin on quite a few pages of my website and would really love to continue to use it but with it creating such a drastic impact on my page speed and generating that many requests i’m unable to. Any help would be greatly appreciate thank you.
