    Hi,

I’m not sure if this issue has just started after upgrading either WordPress or the theme but the cropping is behaving differently.

Cropping of images on the slider was originally happening from the bottom of the image.

We had paid a company to design us professional banner images based on the important section of the image kept towards the top.

After upgrading WordPress/The Theme the banners seem to load as expected but within a blink of an eye, they move and get centralised.

This is causing a real issue for the site as my images are all having important information (at the top) cut off.

Please can someone advise if there was a change and how I can get the system behaving as it was previously?

    Thanks

    Mike

  • Hi Mike
    Go to:
“Appearance” -> “Customize” -> “Responsive Settings” and
uncheck “Enable/disable slider’s slides centering on any devices”

    That’s all.

    Hope this helps

    Fantastic thanks d4z_c0nf!

I had a look through the customize options for something new but have to admin I didn’t look in the responsive settings.

I think it’s a great new feature, but may have been better if this wasn’t forced on for people upgrading from previous versions as all my images were particular designed around this functionality not being there ??

    ??
Can you share this website link? I’m curious about these images ??

The sites not live yet so have the ‘Coming Soon’ plugin currently enabled.

But you can see an example image here:

    https://www.martialartslessons.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/mightymonkeys2.jpg

You’ll notice that the most important content is placed at the top (i.e logo at top right) and the Banner text will be placed as close to the area in the box.

When the plugin change (top center the image) was made I got the very bottom of the top right logo and the monkeys head got cut off. Bad times

Yes yes, you’re right, but I didn’t doubt about that, really, was just curious about the image :D.
    Thanks for sharing it!
