Slider does not work

Try disabling plugins to find whether any are responsible.

I tried that and it did not work

did you activate the slider in the theme options > general tab?

Do you also have a post with a featured image in it? AND sticky’ed under QUICK EDIT in POST > ALL POST?

also, I dont think the slider comes out if you have the page YOUR RECENT POSTS instead of STATIC.

You can find that APPEARANCE > CUSTOMIZE > STATIC FRONT PAGE
