• I just bought the premium slider-image, unzipped and uploaded it. I chose to overwrite the old free plugin. Everything seemed to work. The first test slides are being displayed.

I added my posts (which is why I bought it) to the slider. They did not have featured images so I added them.

Then chose Static Post, the category and then selected all 4 posts, complete with descriptions, url, title and image.

I inserted the shortcode [huge_it_slider id=”1″] on my page. The slider did only load the navigation arrows, nothing else.

Then I tried it with draft, published pages and pages versus posts. The slider just never loaded the content.

Then I went to remove the posts and used “add image” -> I added all the info and image manually. Saved it, sliders still don’t load.

I have deactivated and re-activated the plugin.

Please, I bought this plugin and am waiting to use it. I wrote emails to your support address with my order number to get the upgrade for premium users. I have version 10.0 and hope an upgrade fixes the problem.

I am using a free slider now that does the job perfectly, it’s just a little limited. I hope you answer soon.

Of all the sliders out there I got to buy the one that doesn’t work. Great. You answered a few hours ago to another thread, please answer here as well. I already bought your product and I am sitting on it not able to use it.

I mean, the irony is that I am using a free slider now that’s actually working well.

By the way, if you look at the slider test page I posted, you can see the working free slider on the right. Every other plugin is working as well.

Hi dear user, we usual get notification when users reply on our message and get back.

btw, you problem may be because you have added the same shortcode 3 times, did you?

I only added it three times to show you that three different sliders don’t work. I originally tried it with 1.

leave one please and contact [email protected]

I sent you emails. Leaving one doesn’t fix it. I reinstalled with the file you sent me – still the same problem

    For everyone interested:

The developer got admin access and found the problem: You can’t have shortcodes in any description of your slides, that will make the slider not load the content.

According to the developer that helped me, this is not a problem or an error, it’s just a feature that this slider doesn’t have. I guess however you see it, we as users could not know that shortcodes make the plugin not work.

So I hope this helps anyone with similar problems.

The developer might code something that converts the shortcodes in description to normal text, to prevent this non feature from applying, but I am not sure about that.

A thing that should get fixed is that the slider did not cut the descriptions to the entered length (300 as default). Instead, it used the whole posts as description. For me, this will be fixed soon. I don’t know if they will release an update as well.

I hope this can help someone else.

    Thank you for your feedback.

I added the slider shortcode for the slider into the description on a page and I had no images either. If I viewed the code it was picking up the right images.

    Hi jennyhwd
1)please check if our shortcode doesn’t have any html tags on it.
    2) insert it in an empty post and check if it works

Hi. I deleted the slider in the mean time, as I found one that works. However I did reinstall it and it started working. I did exactly as I did the first time round.
