    Hi- I just finished setting up with Startup. It looked great at first, but after I added all my pages to the slider (5 in total), it started flickering fast on Chrome, and showing as blank in Edge. This is for a client, so I need a fix ASAP. Thanks!

    ETA: I forgot to mention, I’ve temporarily switched off the automatic rotation, which stops the problem. My client wants that feature, though.

    Thanks for using Startup Blog!

    I’m having trouble recreating this issue on a development site. Could you try temporarily deactivating the plugins on your site and then check if the slider stops flickering?

    Could you also describe a bit about the flickering – is it during the transition or constant? Does it affect the image or only the text?

    I’ve tried deactivating each plugin individually and nothing has changed. Deactivating all of them at once also doesn’t get rid of the problem. So…it doesn’t seem to be a plugin.

    The flickering happens constantly. I get a brief glimpse of the first image when the page first loads, then the flickering begins. I’ve switched the site to the autoplay slider for now so you can hopefully get a look.

    The slider is switching between slides incredibly fast right now which is why it is constantly flickering. In the Customizer, could you let me know what value you have set for the seconds between slides (screenshot)?

    It was set at 5 seconds, which as I recall was the default. I tried switching it to 6 seconds to see if that made any difference…and it seems to have fixed it. Not sure why, but hey, guess I found a new bug for you?

    Yup, it looks like there is an issue with how Startup Blog handles the default value. Sorry for the bug! I will correct it in the next update.
