Slider Image: Replace Slider with Static Collage Image

You can disable the slider and add an image above the featured images using a hook.
Look at this snippet for inspiration.

I appreciate your response, however this is not a simple fix, Menaka. The Customizr theme offers too many features for customization without having to create a Child Theme. Thanks for your response!

Discovered my work-around without editing the CSS because I don’t want to create a Child Theme at this point. So I created a Post/Blog but did not add it to the menu. So far, these are my Customized settings.

Front Page:
Front Page Layout = No sidebars: full width layout
Select front page slider from -Auto-generated slider from your blog posts-

Post/Blog Settings:
Featured image is 1000×485 px
Post Layout = No sidebars: full width layout
Slider Option is not on so the image is static

The problem is the sides of the image are cut off. I’ve tried everything I know to play with to not avail. I also inspected and tried changing CSS settings there to pin-point where the problem is.

What are your thoughts?

Hi Menaka ~ I decided to disable the slider as you suggested. I also disabled the featured images. I built rows with images and links using MaxButtons and pleased with the results so far. I would like to have the the links on the Front page refer to specific row contents on the Services page. I’ve researched and understand it is probably an “a” tag but can’t find how to enter the html code in the MaxButton plugin for the link. Can you please help with this issue?
