• is anyone else having issues with the slider since the last update?

My slider images are now full size and all the text overlays are listed underneath each other in one massive list.

Turned off all the sliders and back on and went back to normal, now all big again.

Turned all sliders off as I update live site, so can’t show you. Just need to know if anyone else is having the issue before I start going through all the plugin/conflict diagnosis.

    cheers.

  • I’m having the same problem, my front page slider isn’t working properly, but has the three slider pictures overlapping each other. I don’t know what to do.

Same here, hope these guys fix it already!

Same issues as stated above. I had tried resetting most of my plugins with no luck. In the mean time I am going to try rebuilding my sliders and front page with another plugin.

Hope to have a fix for this soon.

    Hi,

I am not able to replicate your issue.
    Please check for plugin conflict.

    1) If you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.

    2) Proceed to disable one plugin at a time, clear browser history and re-visit your slider. Check if it’s working properly.

Do this until you find the plugin that’s causing this issue, please replace with an alternative plugin.

    Thank you

Ok as I was lazy I updated the live site first. Weirdly, the clone dev site does not have the same issue when I updated that and it has pretty much the same content. The only differing content it has are additional plugins that I am test not fewer. So confused out the outset.

Maybe we can find some common ground with the other users that are having the issue also. Here are my plugins that I am using below. Yes I know its a lot!

One other thing of note is I have the 3 sliders on 3 different pages. On one page that has a slider only with one image it is fine. It is only the other sliders with multiple images that seem to be affected.

Can all the others that are having the issue post there plugins to see if we can find a common culprit.

    Hello folks,
it might be due to a recent theme change (slider’s slides item CSS selector moved from .item to .czr-item) that your site seem to correctly not reflect.

Most likely due to some server side caching system.

Would you mind flushing your server’s side cache?

Also, it might be due to some custom CSS code you have, or parent files not up-to-date copied in your child-theme.

If you have custom CSS which involved the slider’s slides .item selector, please replace it with .czr-item.

    Hope this helps.

Just as a way of helping me understanding cache better, because I still don’t get it (ashamed face)

I use cloudflare – so if I purge their cache is that the same as server side?

    (@nofski)

that would explain why the clone site wasnt affected as that doesn’t run through cloudflare. I think I will add that so it really is a clone! ??
